One of the most important strengths of La Printaniere is our dedicated faculty. Montessori teachers are trained observers of children's learning and behavior, allowing them to know when to intervene in a child's learning with a new lesson, a fresh challenge, or a revisiting of past rules and lessons.  Our teachers’ commitment and expertise enables La Printaniere to offer excellent individualized learning paths.

Each lead teacher has obtained or is obtaining certification from the American Montessori Society, Montessori World Education Institute, and/or the Center for Guided Montessori Studies, all teacher training programs recognized by the Louisiana Department of Education.

It is necessary for the teacher to guide the child without letting him feel her presence too much, so that she may always be ready to supply the desired help, but may never be the obstacle between the child and his experience.
