LOOK FOR YOUR FORM IN YOUR CHILD’S FOLDER ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8

The La Printaniere Elementary class will soon be holding its annual potluck Thanksgiving Feast, and you are invited! Each child should sign up to bring a dish that they would like to help prepare at home and share with the class. Please help your child decide what to contribute and complete the form that was sent home.

If a parent is able to attend, it is most convenient to bring the dish ready to serve at 11:30. If this is not practical, you may send the dish at the beginning of the school day. We will have one microwave available to heat food, but will not be able to cook food in the classroom. Any food being heated at school must be in a microwave-safe dish. Please mark all non-disposable serving dishes and utensils.

As usual, La Printaniere dietary guidelines apply (for example, use natural sweeteners such as honey or maple syrup). If your child has special dietary needs and you are concerned about the availability of appropriate choices, feel free to send a lunch that day.

In an effort to decrease plastic waste, we will not serve bottled water. Please make sure your child brings his / her water bottle.
