Our Staff
Our classroom teachers are certified by Louisiana State Department of Education. Our teachers have attended the American Montessori Society, Montessori World Education Institute and National Center for Montessori Excellence, all approved teacher training programs recognized by the Louisiana Department of Education.
We are excited about the variety of opportunities we are able to offer our children. One of the most important strengths of La Printaniere is the dedicated faculty. Their commitment to children enables La Printaniere to offer our excellent individualized programs.
Our teachers are trained observers of children's learning and behavior, allowing them to know when to intervene in the child's learning with a new lesson, a fresh challenge or a reinforcement of basic ground rules. Our teachers teach young children skills and attitudes for a lifetime.
Our teachers use their expertise to function in a team approach to provide a well rounded learning environment. Most importantly, our teachers love to work with children. The Montessori Classroom is guided by the teacher to control the environment, not the child; to look at the child and allow their true nature to freely emerge.
